About Elena Flier
Elena has twenty five years experience as a teacher, counselor,
metaphysician and Certified Addictions Counselor specializing in
Spiritually approaching addictions, Domestic Violence, Victim
Advocacy, Women's Empowerment and Eating Disorders. She also
works as an Artist and Chef.
Having worked with ages from preschool through the elderly, she has a
clear understanding of each life stage and the ability to form immediate
compassionate therapeutic bonds with her clients. Through the
restoration of the individual's ability to "tune in" to their own intuitive
voice, she is able to help guide clients to the fundamental places that
express who they truly are. This path to the reclamation of true, personal
power includes releasing old wounds that stand in the way of a true
connection to an individual's spiritual center. The approach is eclectic
using what is needed at the moment, be it talk therapy, art or music
therapy, cognitive work creative imaging or the more esoteric forms of
healing.
While the work is spiritually based, it is not dogmatic, and all religious
and spiritual belief systems are compatible and honoured.
Hailing from a multi ethnic and multi religious upbringing, Ms. Flier is
very sensitive to the needs of all ethnic and religious groups and can meet
clients "where they are" in this respect.
Especially adept at working with the artistic and/or, searching
personality, those in religious recovery, addictions, and with children,
young adults, adults and the elderly with all types of power/victim issues.
